Who are you crying for?

Don´t you remember what you wrote in that message on that cold rainy morning in May?

Because I remember crying while I hid under the covers, thinking the world had surely ended.

Don’t you remember the snapchats you sent into the world?

I never thought you could be so cruel, because your laugh still echoes in my head like it was yesterday. I made you laugh so hard that you almost cried. It feels like yesterday as you laid your head on my shoulder when you were so sleepy from the jetlag.

Isn’t that ironic? You said I was a good friend, so who are you crying for?

Because I am still here, writing one poem after another until I find the right words, but I know they won´t reach you anyway.

For all you know, I might as well be dead to you.
